September/October Yellowstone National Park Sightings Log:

Wolves: Slough Creek and Hayden Valley (Unidentified Black Wolf sighting 7/24 in Hayden Valley)
Grizzly Bears: Hayden Valley (Unidentified Grizzly and 2 cubs sighting 7/24 in Hayden Valley)
Bison: Hayden Valley herd looks healthy and numerous, Lamar Valley Herd looks healthy and numerous.
Wapiti: Mammoth Hot Springs and surrounding pullouts (4 Bulls seen rutting HARD 7/26) Small Bull/Haram sighted West Entrance to Madison Junction (1 Bull, 3 Cows, and 3 calves spotted 7/25)
Bald Eagle: 1 female spotted nesting in Hayden valley, numerous days. Various dates last week in Sept.
Moose: Island Park and Surrounding Areas (Cow and Calf sighted in town on 7/24) Great spot, Callie Purrington
Mountain Goat: Golden Gate Pass between Swan Lake and Mammoth Hot Springs (1 Billy sighted on high pass)
Black Bear: No sightings to report
Bighorn: No sighting to report
Mountain Lion: No Sightings to report
Coyote: sighted West Entrance to Madison Junction. Two spotted far off through spotting scope in Lamar Valley on 7/24
Fox: Night sighting along Gibbon Falls Bridge. 7/25
Trumpeter Swan: Yellowstone River bend at entrance to Hayden Valley (Sighted 1 Cob, 1 Pen on 7/24)
Antelope: Sighted countless leaving Island Park headed to West Yellowstone (various dates)
